Welcome! Project Clean Air celebrates 20 years of improving air quality for our health and to see the mountains.
Project Clean Air volunteers have been working to improve air quality in the San Joaquin Valley of California since 1990. The agency received its 501(c)3 nonprofit designation on July 11, 1991.
Our award-winning programs have existed in classrooms, agricultural operations, fleet vehicle operations, car crushing yards, and at community events.
Project Clean Air has a chapter in San Luis Obispo, which serves as the Central Coast Clean Cities Coalition (C5). The agency also hosts the San Joaquin Valley Clean Cities Coalition.
